Clean Energy 2030: Google’s Green Energy Future Revealed
In November of 2007, Google launched its Green Energy initiative called Clean Energy 2030 “Renewable Energy Cheaper than Coal” or “RE less than c.” In stark contrast to the coal industries plans to maintain a high share of the electricity generation market at 2050 the Google.org plan has coal phased out at 2030.

Companies like Google that have the vision to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy sources are clearly frustrated by the slow pace or even existence of “Breakthrough Discoveries” in the clean electricity sector.
